Dancing the Wild Home is an invitation to return to our wild nature, to rejoin the rhythms of breath, body, ocean, and life. Immersed in the blues and greens of Tonga, we are witnessed by, and witness, the Humpback Whales—the Ocean’s great Wisdom Keepers—as they gather in their birthing waters. Each day, we enter sacred ground.
This intimate, life-changing retreat explores our profound connection with the ocean and its diverse inhabitants. Our small group (8–10 participants) spends time both on land and in the sea. Mornings often include gentle, restorative movement practices that prepare us for afternoons spent swimming with whales and other ocean beings, such as manta rays, dolphins, and turtles.
We stay at a remote eco-retreat on the island of Uoleva, surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of the sea. Accommodations are simple and locally built, solar-powered, open to the ocean air, and designed to help you truly unplug. There is limited connectivity, warm solar showers, and an invitation to slow down and live close to nature.
Whales invite us to remember flow, compassion, and connection. Through movement, Continuum practice, breath, and sound, we listen to the body, to the ocean, and to what it means to be home in the wild world.

Dancing the Wild Home: Dominica—December 2026
Amber is expanding to a new island home in the Caribbean—the lush, volcanic island of Dominica, known as the “Nature Island.” This upcoming retreat will bring the same spirit of eco-somatic exploration and ocean kinship to new waters, where rainforest and sea meet.
Tentatively planned for December 2026, this program will combine daily Continuum and movement practices with opportunities to respectfully encounter the whales that migrate through Dominica’s deep blue channels. If you’d like to be among the first to hear when details are announced, check the Dominica 2026 box on the interest form.
