The human body is an ocean of many streams. Moving. Feeling. Sensing. Dreaming. Thinking. Breathing. Dancing.
These streams move us—and become our movements—from the smallest micromobilizations within our tissues to the ways we reach, relate, and respond in the wider world.
Being the Both/And invites us into this living paradox: we are individual and collective, fluid and formed, resting and becoming. Centered in the revolutionary movement practice of Emilie Conrad’s Continuum, this one-day immersion incites and invokes the 70% water that composes our bodies, awakening our innate capacity for adaptability, creativity, and coherence.
In times when environmental cues may signal uncertainty, threat, or division, our inner landscape can become a sanctuary. Through shared sound streams, breath, stillness, and organic movement, we co-create a resonant field—an embodied soundscape where separation softens and belonging becomes palpable.
Blending primordial vocal tones with deep rest and authentic movement—from subtle inner tides to expressive dance—this playshop is both restorative and liberating. Participants are guided to explore the fluid intelligence of their own bodies while moving in attunement with others.
Open to all bodies—new or renewed to the practice—this Continuum experience offers a space to remember: we are not fixed forms, but living waters, capable of being the both and.
