Reinhabiting the Body

A Polyvagal-Informed Clinical Response Beyond Verbal Processing

There are moments in clinical practice when words are no longer enough.

When a client can speak their experience with clarity, yet something essential remains untouched. When insight is present, but the body does not shift. These are often the places where the nervous system is still holding what language cannot yet reach.

Reinhabiting the Body offers a different entry point.

This on-demand training introduces a Polyvagal-informed, movement-based approach to working with trauma and dysregulation beyond verbal processing. Rooted in embodied practice, it supports clinicians in attuning to the body’s subtle cues and working directly with the rhythms, patterns, and protective responses that shape experience beneath narrative.

You will be guided to:

  • Recognize non-verbal expressions of autonomic states through breath, posture, rhythm, and movement
  • Support state shifts using simple, accessible somatic and movement-based practices
  • Work with empathy, attunement, and co-regulation as embodied relational processes
  • Restore interoceptive awareness and a sense of safety within the body
  • Tend to your own embodied resilience as a practitioner

No prior movement or dance experience is needed—only a willingness to listen to what the body already knows.

This training is suitable for therapists, practitioners, and anyone interested in embodied approaches to healing.
