SUMMARY:Transform Trauma Oxford 2026
DESCRIPTION:Join me at Transform Trauma Oxford 2026 is one of the world’s largest conferences dedicated to trauma\, mental health and wellbeing\, bringing together more than 4\,000 participants from around the world in venues across the city of Oxford from 14–17 September 2026. Get tickets here! \nI’ll be on a panel called ‘Which Modality when? Discernment in Trauma Healing for Body\, Mind\, and Spirit‘ The conversation explores how practitioners track nervous system cues\, relational safety\, parts dynamics\, identity and agency\, and embodied signals to guide moment-to-moment clinical decisions. Particular attention is given to sequencing and pacing\, when stabilisation\, relational and developmental work\, parts-based approaches\, movement-informed integration\, or memory processing may be most appropriate\, especially in complex and developmental trauma. \nRather than asking “which modality is best?”\, this session offers a grounded clinical map for working multi-modally with coherence\, humility\, and responsiveness\, honouring evidence-based practice alongside the deeper\, often ineffable\, dimensions of healing. \nLearning Objectives \n\nDifferentiate the core clinical mechanisms and therapeutic aims of polyvagal-informed and movement-based approaches\, NARM\, IFS\, EMDR-informed practice\, and CST (Craniosacral Therapy) in the treatment of trauma.\nAssess nervous system cues\, relational safety\, parts dynamics\, and embodied signals to determine appropriate modality selection\, sequencing\, and pacing in complex and developmental trauma.\nFormulate a coherent\, multi-modal treatment plan that integrates stabilisation\, developmental and relational repair\, parts-based work\, movement-informed integration\, and memory processing in alignment with client presentation and clinical context.\n\nJoin me in Oxford here! \nThis year’s conference theme\, Science\, Spirit and the Body: The Synthesis of Healing\, explores how modern science\, embodied practice and spiritual understanding can contribute to a more integrated vision of healing. \nFeaturing more than 100 internationally recognised speakers\, including Gabor Maté\, Bessel van der Kolk\, Tara Swart\, Dan Siegel\, Richard Schwartz\, Kristin Neff and Ruby Wax\, the conference welcomes clinicians\, therapists\, researchers\, educators and wellbeing professionals for four days of learning\, connection and community. \nAttendees will have the opportunity to: \n→ Learn from 100+ world-renowned academics\, researchers and practitioners \n→ Attend keynote presentations\, workshops\, panel discussions and community events in and around Oxford \n→ Explore the latest developments in trauma\, neuroscience\, mental health and wellbeing \n→ Build connections with practitioners\, researchers and clinicians from around the world \n→ Earn up to 40 CPD and CE credits\, included within the cost of attendance \nAvailable both in-person and online. \nGet tickets here! \n

SUMMARY:Nervous System & Emotional Well-Being Global Summit
DESCRIPTION:You’ve done the therapy. Read the books. Sat with the journals and the meditation apps and years of inner work. \n\nAnd somehow\, certain things still haven’t shifted. \nThings like staying grounded when the world feels like it’s on fire. Or anxiety that shows up more than you’d like. Or old patterns\, anger\, or grief that insight alone hasn’t been enough to move. \nIt has now become more clear than ever that our nervous system and our emotions were never meant to be understood apart from each other. They’re most powerful addressed together.  \nJoin us for the Nervous System & Emotional Well-Being Global Summit\, where that idea comes fully alive. \nThis FREE 5-day online Summit September 22-26\, 2026 is presented by Wisdom for Life and includes sessions that are focused and concise\, just 20 to 25 minutes\, so it fits into a life that’s already full. \nI’m honored to be among the leading voices presenting in this summit\, along with Jon Kabat-Zinn\, Richard Schwartz\, Tara Brach\, Bessel van der Kolk\, Judson Brewer\, Sue Carter and many more. \nClaim your FREE spot now. \nEach day pairs expert conversations with a guided experiential practice: breathwork\, somatic movement\, a sound bath\, and more\, so what you learn also becomes something you feel in your body\, not just understand in your mind. \nAcross five days\, you’ll explore both your nervous system and the emotions that live within it: \n\nUnderstand why you feel the way you feel\, learning how your nervous system actually works and finally putting language to what you’ve never quite had words for \nCalm anxiety and overwhelm with breathwork\, grounding\, and vagus nerve practices that shift how your body feels\, not just what your mind understands \nQuiet the inner critic and interrupt the shame spiral with practices that build a genuinely kinder relationship with yourself \nMove anger and grief through your body safely\, each given the unhurried attention they deserve\, not a quick fix or a bypass \nConnect with a real community moving through the same experience alongside you\, because healing alongside others is different from healing alone\n\nReserve your FREE spot here. \nReal change rarely happens in isolation\, and it rarely happens in a single sitting either. This Summit gives you five days on the calendar\, not one more resource waiting in a folder\, alongside thousands of people doing this work at the very same time you are. \nBy the end\, you’ll leave with more than concepts…\n\nYou’ll leave with your own simple\, personal plan: your top triggers\, the practices that work best for you\, and a clear way to use them in daily life and in the moments that matter most. \nYour nervous system has been trying to keep you safe the whole time. The emotions you’ve been carrying have been trying to tell you something too. Once you understand both\, calm stops being something you have to force. It becomes something you can return to\, again and again. \nRegister now for FREE.

SUMMARY:Re-enchantment and Purpose Workshop
DESCRIPTION:An embodied inquiry in a time of unravelling. \nThursday 28th January 6pm to Sunday 31st January 4pm \nFour Mile Creek\, East Coast Tasmania \nThis workshop invites us into an embodied exploration of the question: What is ours to do? Rather than seeking answers through analysis alone\, we turn toward the living intelligence of the body\, embedded within land and ocean.  Continuum teaches us that wisdom does not live in abstraction\, but in breath\, sound\, and subtle movement—within the tides and textures of our own being. Through deep listening we reconnect with what has always been here\, our belonging in the web of life. We hear our voice beneath the noise.  \nLearn more and get tickets here. \nThis workshop offers: \n●        Somatic practices rooted in Continuum to access embodied knowing \n●        Ritual and reflection inspired by The Work That Reconnects \n●        Space to mourn\, move and metabolise collective and personal grief \n●        A lived experience of interconnectedness with the wider web of life \n●        An embodied inquiry into what is truly ours to do in this time of unravelling \nThis is an invitation to slow down\, to listen beneath words\, and remember that even in times of breakdown\, life is always practicing how to begin again. \nLogistics \nThis is a catered residential workshop\, with only BYO camping accommodation. \nArrive Thursday afternoon to set up your camp\, with dinner and an opening circle. \nThe venue is at Four Mile Creek\, halfway between Bicheno and St Helens\, on the East Coast of Tasmania. \n(There is a studio on the land\, with a king-sized bed\, that can be rented for an additional cost of $400 for three nights). \nCo-facilitators \nAmber Elizabeth Gray moves from a diverse landscape of experience. Yoga\, sacred dance\, dance/movement therapy\, bodywork\, and Continuum are all somatic languages she listens to and creates from. She has worked with survivors of extreme interpersonal violence since 1999 and these are her teachers of movement as liberation. As an educator\, clinician\, mentor and changemaker\, she incites resilient embodied revolution so that we can liberate ourselves from our own constraints. She is the author of the recently published book Polyvagal-informed Restorative Movement Psychotherapy: Roots. Rhythm. Reciprocity. \nShar Molloy first trained with Joanna Macy and John Seed in 2001 and has applied the wisdom of Deep Ecology and the Work that Reconnects in her roles as an environmental campaigner. Shar is also a trained facilitator and coach of Nonviolent Communication and an Associate of Nonviolent Global Liberation (NGL). Her purpose is to support others to experience themselves as part of the web of life and play a part in the Great Turning. \nJoin Amber and Shar by registering here.

DESCRIPTION:Dancing the Wild Home is partnering with Pure Baja Travels for an immersive experience with the blue whales who frequent the Sea of Cortez and our gray whale kin of San Ignacio Lagoon. \nPure Baja Travels offers an truly ecologically conscious\, comfortably simple\, close-to-the-earth camp in San Ignacio Lagoon. Each year\, the camp is completely dismantled and the land is returned to its natural condition\, ensuring a minimal human footprint. \nJoin internationally renowned movement therapist and artist Amber Gray\, José Sánchez\, and the Pure Baja team of marine scientists\, cultural Wisdom Keepers\, and local guides whose knowledge of the ocean dwellers and natural habitats is both extraordinary and heart-full. \nIn Loreto\, we’ll spend time on the water with blue whales\, dolphins\, and other sea beings\, as well as time exploring the town. \nOur time in San Ignacio Lagoon includes encounters on the water with the “friendly” gray whales\, Continuum and ocean-inspired movement practices suitable for all bodies\, reflective writing\, and educational sessions. Together\, we’ll deepen our understanding of these magnificent beings and explore how we can become more effective stewards of our gray whale kin\, in the spirit of restorying their future and our own. \nInterested?  Complete this form\,\nRetreat Details and Registration Coming Soon!\nFor more information about Pure Baja travels\, visit:  https://www.purebajatravels.com/
